I started this blog in 2014 after my aunt gave me this pot:
She knew I loved cooking, and thought that what I was really missing in my travelling student-funded kitchen was a proper heavy-duty roasting/baking/braising/searing stewpot. She was right.
I decided to make as many things as I possibly could, using this one pot. Over the years, other pots have co-starred, but this has always been the main one.
So this is a record of what I make and eat with this pot. I am (obviously) not a professional. I occasionally have no idea what I'm doing. I am a fan of deviating from and disregarding recipe instructions, often with disastrous results. But if it's here, I ate it.
Anyway, this blog is mostly a years-long thank-you note to my aunt, with pictures and rambling interludes.
